In this module we’re going to look at an overview of the ICD-10 PCS guidelines and other instructions for procedure coding in Chapter 10.

Our objectives are to review the official CMS coding guidelines and current coding clinic issues for pulmonary procedures.

We’re going to examine some case examples, for guideline application and DRG impact.

Finally, we’re going to look at some resources and tools for data evaluation and identify some DRG shifts.
