Description
This is module number two for neuro and circulatory systems. This is our second session exploring these complex DRGs and coding scenarios.
Our objectives for this module are to do a really deep dive into these DRGs, and we’re going to discuss some of the terms and documentation necessary to capture the accuracy and acuity.
We’re going to review some of the CCs and MCCs and the ICD-10 combination codes, and we’re going to talk quite a bit about capturing disease, manifestations, and complications for severity of illness.
We’re also going to look at severity of illness in MS-DRGs as well as APR-DRGs and review accurate data performance reporting and DRG assignment.
