In our first and second modules on this topic we really focused on diagnosis and DRGs and coding guidelines.
In this module, we are also going to look at coding guidelines, but it’s going to be the PCS coding guidelines.
We’re going to review coding clinic issues that help us with procedure decision-making.
We’re also going to review some specific cases, how we apply the PCS coding guidelines and their DRG impact.
Finally, we will discuss some resources and tools for data evaluation and identification of DRG shifts.
